PDF and Acrobat Reader Information

What is a PDF?
PDF is a file format that represents a document in a manner independent of the hardware, operating system, and application software used to create the file. Adobe Systems developed PDF to enable documents to be transferred and shared across computer platforms as they were created in their original format. In order for you to see a PDF document, you need to download the browser software plug-in called Acrobat Reader. After Acrobat Reader is installed, you simply click on the PDF and it will be loaded into your browser.

Are you unable to read the PDF's on this Web Site?
You may already have Acrobat Reader installed. If you do, but you cannot read the PDF's on the CWSERP Training page, then you probably do not have the latest version of Acrobat Reader. You will need to visit the Adobe Acrobat Reader page to download version 4.0.
