CWS "Health and Safety" webinar September 10
Health and Safety are vital components of relief and recovery, not only for the survivors, but also for the volunteers that are often in risky environments. Claire Galiano, a health and safety trainer with the New Jersey Work Environment Council (NJWEC) will lead a CWS Webinar on September 10, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EST.
She has played an important role in the recovery process following Superstorm Sandy. Galiano will be joined by Bill Hubler and Jonathan Morawetz, whom also have worked with the United Church of Chirst, CWS, and various recovery organizations during numerous training events. Some of these events include Recovery Tools and Training in New Jersey following Superstorm Sandy, and also in New York City following the September 11 Terrorist Attacks.

The Emergency Response Specialists will discuss what to expect when disaster strikes. Individuals and families are often not aware of the important steps during relief and recovery, leaving many hopeless in the wake of a disaster. For this reason it is important to know where to turn in an emergency. From Disaster Case Management (DCM) to Emotional and Spiritual Care, this webinar will inform you of the important details to consider, keeping you from becoming a disaster "victim."
